Årsagen til, at du ikke selv må montere en rottespærre, er ret simpel.

Når en rottespærre er blevet monteret, er de efterfølgende handlinger lige så vigtige som selve monteringen. Vedligeholdelse er nemlig et must, når det kommer til en rottespærre.
Kloakker er komplicerede systemer, der nemt kan blive stoppet til, og selvom en rottespærre generelt ikke har indflydelse på vandets gennemgang, kan der være undtagelser.
Papir og andre materialer kan, uden du ved det, sætte sig fast i rottespærren og dermed skabe problemer i din kloak. Sørg derfor for at få udført en tv-inspektion jævnligt eller lave et månedligt tjek af din rottespærre ved at orientere dig i den specifikke brønd. På den måde sikrer du dig, at alt er, som det skal være.
